American Flag Retirement Box

Joe Richmond, a Jackson Township resident, and a member of Boy Scout Troop 2050 in Alliance completed his Eagle Scout project and presented it to the Jackson Township Trustees at their meeting on November 18, 2021.

Joe constructed an American Flag retirement box (pictured below).  This retirement box can be found in the lobby area of Jackson Township Administrative Offices.  Residents now have a place to bring their worn-out and distressed flags for proper retirement.

Joe is pictured here with Trustees Jim Thomas, John Pizzino, Todd Hawke and Fiscal Officer Randy Gonzalez.  His parents Jessica and Colin and sister Chloe were are also present for the presentation.
