The Jackson Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the following amendment at the Jackson Twp. Hall, 5735 Wales Ave. NW, Massillon, OH on December 16, 2025.
5:00 PM Amendment 20250898 - Leecrest Holdings LLC, PO Box 604 Massillon, OH 44648, property owner, proposes to rezone R-R Rural Residential District to R-1 Single Family Low Density Residential District, Parcel 10019129 located on the south side of Portage approx. 420 ft. east of Blendon Ave., and Parcels 10019167, 10019168, 10019169, 10019170, 10019171, 10019172, 10019173, 10019174, 10019175 located on the north side of Walbridge, total acreage consisting of approx. 25.54 AC, Sect, 14NE Jackson Twp.

NOTICE TO LOT/LANDOWNERS ROLLING GREEN #4

To lot and landowners and corporations affected by proposed improvement by artificially lighting streets and public ways in ROLLING GREEN #4 unincorporated in Jackson Township, situated in the Township of Jackson, Stark County, Ohio, and more fully described as follows:

Situated in the Township of Jackson, County of Stark, and the State of Ohio, and the plat of which are recorded in the Stark County plat records.  The district includes no lands more than six hundred sixty feet from, and no lands not abutting on, the streets and public ways in the district.

Notice is hereby given that on December 1, 2025, a petition requesting that the Board of Trustees of Jackson Township take all lawful and proper proceedings to light artificially the streets and public ways in an unincorporated district in Jackson Township, was filed in my office, and that on December 1, 2025, I notified the Board of Trustees of the date of such filing and delivered to them a copy of the petition.  The petitioning property owners request to have streetlights installed in their neighborhood and that the cost of said artificial lights be assessed upon the lots and lands within the district.

Notice is further given that a hearing will be held of the Jackson Township Board of Trustees on December 16, 2025, 5:00 P.M. at the Jackson Township Hall located at 5735 Wales Ave. N.W. in Jackson Township, to hear any and all proof offered by any of the parties affected by such improvement and other persons competent to testify.
