Five Firefighters Hired
March 15, 2024/Last Updated March 15, 2024
“I, _________________, do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Ohio, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge the duties of Full Time Firefighter/Paramedic of the Jackson Township Fire Department, Stark County, Ohio.” As stated by Brandon Bryan, Jack Keim, Brandon Lucas, Jacob Ricketts and Joseph Turnbo.
This #firefighter oath requires new members of the Jackson Township fire department to fulfill all the responsibilities of their position without hesitation. In other words, they must put aside any political biases, treat everyone fairly, respect diverse opinions and follow all rules and regulations. These firefighters must respond immediately to an emergency and do their job to the best of their ability. They are #heroes who will risk their lives to rescue people from burning, smoke-filled buildings that could collapse at any moment, provide advanced prehospital medical care and also serve the community as one of the most civic-minded undertakings that can be done outside of serving in our military. Taking this #oath is to remind them of the solemn #commitment they are making.
