The 2022 Jackson Township Firefighter of the year has been awarded to not one, but three firefighters for their contributions to what an exemplary firefighter can be.
Captain Gary Harrison exemplifies what it is to be a firefighter, a paramedic, a company officer, mentor and a leader. He demonstrates great knowledge of the job, has mentored many new firefighters, and instructs whenever he has the opportunity.
Captain Ryan Sullivan has implemented new incident and patient care reporting software as the lead program administrator. He is always proposing new ways for the Jackson Township Fire Department to function better through technology.
Adam Gladysz has facilitated the implementation of the department’s medical control standing orders, new medications and new EMS equipment through the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center.
