JACKSON LAND CONSERVATION PROGRAM BEGINS Jackson Township Trustees establish “Jackson Township Land Conservation Program” to acquire and preserve green space. Jackson Township Trustees created the Jackson Township Land Conservation Program for the purpose of acquiring and preserving green space for future generations of Jackson Township residents. In an effort to bring additional transparency to Township business, Jackson Township went live on March 23, 2016 on OhioCheckbook.com. Trustees Hawke, Pizzino, and Walters in concert with Fiscal Officer Randy Gonzalez, joined the Treasurer of the State of Ohio and 200 other political entities in publishing its checkbook online.

Snow Emergency/Snow Parking Ban

April 24, 2014

The Jackson Township Board of Trustees has established a snow-parking ban on all Township streets whenever snow has accumulated, or is expected to accumulate, to a depth of two (2) or more inches. Vehicles parked in the street create inefficient and hazardous snow plowing conditions. Notice will be posted and announced when the snow ban is in effect. Violation of the ban can cause your vehicle to be towed away and stored. This action would incur storage charges, fines, and unhappy inconvenience for the vehicle owner.
