Joe Richmond, a Jackson Township resident, and a member of Boy Scout Troop 2050 in Alliance completed his Eagle Scout project and presented it to the Jackson Township Trustees at their meeting on November 18, 2021. Joe constructed an American Flag retirement box (pictured below). This retirement box can be found in the lobby area of Jackson Township Administrative Offices. Residents now have a place to bring their worn-out and distressed flags for proper retirement. The Jackson Township Trustees in conjunction with the Jackson Township Fire, Police and Public Works Departments hosted a free and safe Trunk Or Treat event on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from noon to 1:30 pm though the Amphitheater parking lot.
