Safety Village
The 2024 Jackson Township Safety Village registration is now closed.
The Jackson Township Safety Village will be held June 10 through June 13, 2024 at Lake Cable Elementary School located at 5335 Villa Padova Dr. NW.
Children who reside in Jackson Township and will have completed Kindergarten or First Grade during the 2023-2024 school year are eligible to attend.
Safety Village is held from 8:45 a.m. until noon daily. The cost is $25 per child and is limited to 125 children.
Lessons included Stranger Danger, Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety, Fire Prevention, Calling 911, Bus Safety, Water Safety, Two Ways Out and Crawling Under Smoke, Wildlife Safety, and Boat/Weather Safety. Children have an opportunity to see Fire and Police Equipment up close and to experience the Family Safety Education Trailer.
