 Proclamation  WHEREAS, on April 24, 1991, David Ruwadi was hired full-time by the Jackson Township Joint Recreation District, and  WHEREAS, the Jackson Township Joint Recreation District merged with Jackson Township on March 1, 1996, and David Ruwadi became a Jackson Township employee, and  WHEREAS, under his direction the park system in Jackson Township has seen significant growth, and  WHEREAS, he devoted hard work and time towards the concerns and welfare of the residents of Jackson Township, and  WHEREAS, after thirty-one dedicated years of service to Jackson Township, David Ruwadi, Parks & Recreation Superintendent, will retire on May 20, 2022.  NOW…

SR-687 (Fulton Drive) / Dressler Road – Construction

OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATINO / STARK COUNTY ENGINEERS: Starting On April 1, 2022 the intersection of Dressler Road NW and SR-687 (Fulton Road) the intersection safety project will begin.  This project will result in a realignment of the northern and southern Dressler Road approaches, install new raised intersection traffic island on the NW and SE quadrants and replace the existing traffic signal.  Construction will begin on the NE quadrant of the intersection.
